Lillie P. (Houck) Harwood, 85, of Boyertown, Douglass Twp., PA, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Lobachsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clair S. and Alice (Myers) Houck.
Lillie worked in custodial service for Spring Ford Knitting Co. She loved reading, animals and spending time with family.
Surviving Lillie are: 2 sons: John E. Kern, husband of Lisa and Steven C. Kern, Sr.; 2 step-daughters: Lynn and Jenny Harwood; 1 brother: Sylvester C. Houck; 1 sister: Alice Bachman; and 4 grandchildren: Shaun M. Kern, Melissa Kern, Steven Kern, Jr., and Mathew Kern.
She was predeceased by 2 sisters.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family
