John A. Mickievicz, 80 of Douglassville, Union Twp., PA passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at the Pottstown Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late John and Lillian W. (Spencer) Mickievicz. He was the loving husband of Carol L. (Morrissey) Mickievicz.
John owned his own Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Shop. He enjoyed fly tying, and traveled as far as Montana to fly fish. His interests were Indian artifacts, did some demonstrations on flint arrowhead knapping in schools and museums. He also served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Surviving John, along with his wife Carol are: 1 son: Scott Mickievicz, husband of Cynthia of Elizabethtown, PA; and 2 grandchildren: Erin and Adam.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
