James J. Oldham, 80, of Selbyville, DE, formerly of Birdsboro, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the comfort of his home. Born in Delaware Co., he was the son of the late James W. and the late Mary A. (McCord) Oldham. He was the husband of Cheryl M. (Killian) Oldham.
James served our country in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War, stationed in Hawaii. He worked most of his life in Logistics in outdoor advertising for Clear Channel in Philadelphia, PA. His passion was music, but he was a great storyteller, and served as a Boy Scout Leader in his younger years.
Surviving James, along with his wife, Cheryl, are: 2 sons: James J. Oldham, Jr. and Jordan Oldham; 1 daughter: Amanda Scharf; 1 brother: Paul Oldham; and 2 grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 9:30AM-10:45AM at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A Funeral Service will then be held at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, in Reiffton, PA.
