Carmelo Lombardo, 86 of Douglass Twp., Montgomery Co., PA passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in the comfort of his home. Born in Ali Terme, Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Fortunato Lombardo and Carolina (Ruggieri) Lombardo. He is the husband of Aurora Sicilia (Tringali) Lombardo.Carmelo had been a tailor for K&D Clothing, Stanley Blacker & Louis Goldsmith of Philadelphia, PA and was also self-employed. Carmelo cherished his family, making clothing and other custom clothing. He was a member of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Douglassville, PA.
Surviving along with his wife are 1 son; Fortunato husband of Sally Ann Lombardo of Douglassville, PA; 1 daughter: Carolina wife of Steven Tepper, of Boyertown, PA; 1 brother: Pippo husband of Maria Lombardo of Milan; 2 sister-in-laws; Velia Tringali and Silvana Lombardo, widow of Rocco Lombardo; 4 grandchildren Nicholas Lombardo, Catherine, Marissa and Steven Tepper and other nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville (Union Twp.), PA. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the church. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
