Linda Lou (Jacobs) Richards, 76, of Tremont, PA passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital in Orwigsburg, PA. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late James O. and Esther M. (McElwee) Jacobs. She was the wife of Dennis P. Richards of Tremont, PA.
Linda was an LPN, and worked in various nursing homes, working longest at Berks Heim. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, crafting, and cooking. She was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Exeter Twp., PA.
Surviving Linda, along with her husband Dennis, are: 2 sons: Robert L. Prince, Jr. (Terri) of Tampa, FL, James W. Prince (Kelly) of Birdsboro, PA; 2 daughters: Helen M. Confair (William) of Tremont, PA, Lynnanne Bryant of Bath, NC; 3 brothers: James L., Samuel R., and John A. Jacobs; 2 sisters: Mary MJ Humbert and Betty A. Coleman; step-son: David Richards; step-daughter: Jennifer Bernard; and 8 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband: Robert L. Prince, Sr.; 3 brothers: Ronald, David, and William Jacobs; and 2 sisters: June Jacobs and Jane Moore.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:00am at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. Officiating will be John Jacobs. A viewing will be held from 10:00am-11:00am on Friday at the funeral home, before the service. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
