Bartolomeo Raymond D’Alessandro, 89, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Ari, Italy, in the Province of Chieti, he was the son of late Luigi and Giulia (DiSabato) D’Alessandro. He was the widower of Linda (Dilanzo) D’Alessandro who passed in 2015.
Raymond enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening in his younger years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RCC in Douglassville, PA.
Surviving Raymond are: 2 sons: Moreno D’Alessandro, husband of Jennifer of Exeter Twp., PA and Marco D’Alessandro, husband of Carla of Wyomissing, PA; 2 sisters: Elvira D’Alessandro of Shillington, PA and Gemma D’Alessandro of GA; and 3 grandchildren: Siena, Vincent, and Lorenzo.
He was predeceased by his brother: Sergio “Val” D’Alessandro and sister: Amalia DiFelice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception BVM RCC, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville, PA 19518. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:00am-11:00am at the church, prior to the mass. The burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
