Aurora S. (Tringali) Lombardo, 96 of Douglass Twp., Montgomery Co., PA passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 in the comfort of her home. Born in Nizza, Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Teresa (Libro) Tringali. She was the widow of Carmelo Lombardo who passed away in 2021.
Aurora worked most of her life as a seamstress while raising her family. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, and playing Italian Card Games. She was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church in Douglassville, PA.
Surviving Aurora are son: Fortunato husband of Sally Ann Lombardo of Douglassville, PA; daughter: Carolina wife of Steven Tepper, of Boyertown, PA; sister: Velia Tringali; 4 grandchildren: Nicholas Lombardo, Catherine, Marissa and Steven Tepper and other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother: Anthony Tringali; and 4 sisters: Josephine Parisi, Rosina Portogallo, Lina Carrella, and Maria Tringali.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville (Union Twp.), PA. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the church. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
