Vincent Anthony Cappellano, Jr., 71 of Douglassville, Pennsylvania died peacefully at home on Monday, February 5, 2024.
Born July 29, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Vincent Cappellano, Sr. and the late Gloria (Pinto) Cappellano.
He worked for the United Parcel Service before retiring after 35 years to take care of his beloved wife, Carol “Cookie” Cappellano.
Vincent enjoyed woodworking, building furniture, home repair projects and was an avid Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles and Phillies fan. His sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by all.
Survived by his daughter, Gina Marie Cappellano-Lee and her husband Kenneth Lee of Douglassville, PA; His brother, Joseph Cappellano and sister-in-law Carmela Cappellano; His sister, Gloria Cappellano-Simpson and brother-in-law Bill Simpson. Also survived by his nieces Nicole Carpenter and Natalie Waclawski and nephews Joseph Cappellano, Bill Simpson, Jim Simpson, Vincent Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Michael Hargis, Joseph Hargis, and his sister-in-law’s Francine Hargis, Patricia Crane and Eileen Masterson.
Services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, PA.
