Ryan Anthony Salata

Ryan Anthony Salata, 43, of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 9th, 2024, leaving a legacy of an unforgettable presence and power. Ryan was born on December 21, 1980 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Cynthia (Yoder) and Anthony Salata. He grew up in a close-knit family alongside his younger brother, Kyle. His presence was a force of nature, a spirit of playful spontaneity that lit up every room he entered, making each moment shared with him memorable and vibrant.
Ryan graduated from Daniel Boone High School, Class of 1999. Ryan was known for his enterprising spirit, which led him to establish his own company, Salata Construction.
Beyond his professional life, Ryan was an avid fisherman, often spending time on the waters of Rehoboth Bay with friends and family. Ryan’s passion for life extended to the kitchen, where he enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents, Cindy and Tony; brother, Kyle; sons, Jayden (15) and Mackson (9); and grandmother, Barbra Gerlach. He was predeceased by his cherished grandparents, Raymond Salata and Doc and Gloria Yoder, with whom he shared a deep bond.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 20, from 2-4 pm, followed by a service at 4 pm at St. Gabriel’s, 1188 Benjamin Franklin Hwy East, Douglassville, PA 19518. After the service, please join us for a reception to celebrate Ryan’s life and legacy, further details of which will be provided at the service. Ryan’s life, a beacon of love, strength, and infectious joy, will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate to know him. He will be remembered for his loving and caring personality, which made everyone around him feel not only safe and cherished but amused and alive.
