Ruth A. (Klischer) Lebo, 61, of Birdsboro, PA was ushered into the loving arms of her Savior on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Penn State Health St. Joseph. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman Klischer. She was the loving wife of Douglas B. Lebo. Surviving Ruthie, along with her husband Doug, is her daughter: Kate Louise Lebo of Wyomissing, PA, and her grand-cat: Roscoe.
Ruthie worked as a nurse for Pottstown Hospital and Family Medicine Associates in Birdsboro. She was a current member of Mountain View Chapel and a prior member of Exeter Bible Church. Ruthie was known for being a Longaberger Basket Consultant and collected them for every occasion imaginable.
She sang in choir and worship team, served as a youth leader and Sunday school teacher, ministered on international missions trips, and held the office of Christian school committee treasurer.
Ruthie loved uplifting and helping others. On Sundays, she was a magnet to those who needed uplifting or support, and she was always the last one to leave church. There’s no doubt about it: if Ruthie knew you, she prayed for you.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mountain View Chapel, 68 Old Douglass Dr. Douglassville, PA 19518. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the church before the service.
