Robert W. Taney, 76 of Birdsboro, Exeter Twp. PA passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021, peacefully at the Reading Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Harry L. Taney, Sr. and the late Bernice A. (Kalbach) Taney.
Robert was self-employed as a painter. He was a member of Birdsboro VFW Post 411 and American Legion Post 626. He enjoyed fishing, drive at 5:00, lottery scratch offs, and stamp and bottle collecting.
Surviving Robert are: 1 daughter: Jamie Hamm of Grantville, PA; 2 brothers: Raymond Taney of Exeter Twp., PA and Donald Taney of Pottstown, PA and 1 granddaughter: Jennifer Hamm and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother: Harry L. Taney, Jr.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A funeral service will follow at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
