ROBERT J. DAY
July 11, 1934 – January 14, 2022
Robert J. Day (87), previously of Birdsboro, passed away on January 14, 2022 after a recent hospitalization.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Kenneth & Dorothy (Hipple) Day. He was predeceased by his wife, Annetta, his daughter, Debra Bertolet, and brother, Kenneth Day.
He is survived by his children, Craig & wife, Mary of Richland, Keith & wife, Gerry of Douglassville, Donna of Reading, Kevin & his wife, Donna of Boyertown, nine grandchildren: Crystal, Jenna, Allan, Jason, Kenny, Katie, Jessica, Brooke and Kristy and nine great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his brother, William Day, his sister, Betty Ewing, and his brother, Richard Day.
Bob worked as a lineman for Philadelphia Electric for over 31 years, retiring in 1991. He also served in the US Navy. He loved his family and enjoyed country music, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed feeding the deer & squirrels and spending time outdoors.
