Robert Davis Babb, 94 formerly of Union Twp., Berks Co., PA died on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at ManorCare, West Reading, PA. Born in Birdsboro, PA he was the son of the late George A. Babb, Sr. and Mabel O. (Davis) Babb. He was the widower of his loving wife of seventy years, Marian Mae (Brown) Babb.
Robert had been retired from Metropolitan Edison. He raised dogs, loved gardening, landscaping, fishing and was an animal lover. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in Guam, Sicily and North Africa.
Surviving are son, Richard H. Babb (husband of Lynnette) of Lewes, DE; daughter, Cynthia A. Icenhour (widow of Steve Icenhour) of Coatesville, PA; 2 grandchildren, Michael and Jeffrey; 2 great grandchildren, Logan and Braydon.
He was predeceased by brothers, Richard W. Babb and George A. Babb, Jr..
Services will be private due to the pandemic and be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
