Raymond A. Smith, 85, of Douglassville, Union Twp., PA passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, in the comfort of his home. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Dorothy R. (Bechtel) Smith. He was the loving husband of Sandra F. (McLaughlin) Smith who were married for 30 years on February 14, 2022.
Ray worked as an electrician for Kutz Builders of Pottstown, PA for many years. He also retired from the Daniel Boone School District as the facility and project manager. Ray enjoyed fishing, boating, and woodworking. He loved spending time in Delaware with family and friends.
Surviving Ray, along with his wife, Sandra, is 2 sons: Dennis L. Smith, husband of Terri and Kenneth P. Smith, husband of Jodie; 1 step-son: Ed Reigel, husband of Jennifer; 2 step-daughters: Brenda Solomon, wife of Joseph, and Beverly Fetterman, wife of Leroy; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister: Jean Clemmer
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
