Mary Kathleen Kennedy 63, of Birdsboro PA, passed away peacefully Thursday September 8, 2022, in the comfort of her home.
Born in Jamaica NY, she was predeceased by her loving parents, John J Kennedy and Gertrude E (Engh) Kennedy.
Mary worked as a field engineer over 40 years for various corporations.
She enjoyed playing and restoring guitars, fishing, reading, metal detecting, visiting NY churches for worship and adoration. Mary was a prolific writer and storyteller.
She is survived by four brothers, Richard W Reber (Lucille) of Hollywood FL, James M Kennedy (Susan) of Manorville NY, Matthew L Kennedy of Pottstown PA, and John J Kennedy (Brenda), of Palm Springs FL. and 2 sisters, Melanie A Riegel (Dave) of Birdsboro PA, and Patricia L Steel (Daniel) of Charlotte NC.
Mary is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 6 grand nieces and nephews.
Dogs were her favorite people. Mary loved and cared for too many to list. You know who you are.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville, PA 19518 on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held prior to mass at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers donations to your local animal rescue league would bring her most joy.
