Joseph Lee Wenrich of Laureldale, PA passed away on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Wenrich, his 3 children, Kimberly Jeantet (Steven) of Sarasota, FL, Kelly O’Brien (James) of Lebanon and Jonathan Wenrich (Kareli) and 8 beautiful grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Kercher (Barry) of Pottsville, PA. He was born in Schuykill Haven, PA on September 18, 1953 to George and Ada Wenrich. Joseph was an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church for 40 years until he retired and served several churches in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. He loved planes, trains and automobiles and spent much of his free time pursuing hobbies related to them. He was active as a leader in the Civil Air Patrol for many years and served as a chaplain on the victory ship, the John W. Brown until he was no longer able. We are grateful that he is no longer in pain or suffering and can rest peacefully with the Lord. Services will be private at the request of the family.
