Joseph J. Mucerino, Sr., 80 of Douglassville, Amity Twp., PA passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in the comfort of his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Lapiewicz) Mucerino. He was the widower of Yvonne L. (Kramer) Mucerino who passed away in December of 2004.
Joseph worked in the Clerical Dept. for Eastern State Penitentiary and Graterford Prison. He was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church in Douglassville, and he was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. He was a graduate of North Catholic High School in Philadelphia.
Surviving Joseph is his son: Joseph J. Mucerino, Jr.; and 3 sisters: Ann Offenback, Joan Mundy, Francine Dancheck; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother: John Mucerino and sister: Marion Phillips.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00am-11:00am before the service. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
