John H. Bonslaver, Sr., 78, of Douglassville, Amity Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Pottstown Hospital. Born in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Klokey) Bonslaver. He was the loving husband of Kay L. (Fetterman) Bonslaver.
John worked as a manager in the machine shop of Drug Plastics and Glass Co. in Boyertown, PA. He was a Journeyman Tool & Die maker, most of his life. He graduated from Shenandoah High School and further his education in Tool & Die at Williamsport Technical Institute. He was a member of the Amity Twp. Lions Club, where he served as Past President and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Douglassville, PA, where he was Past President of church council. He enjoyed watching TV and talking politics in his free time.
Surviving John, along with his wife, Kay are 3 sons: John Bonslaver, Jr, husband of Lisa of Birdsboro, PA, Mark Bonslaver, husband of D’Arcy of San Diego, CA, Dr. Jason Bonslaver, husband of Dr. Jessica Riley Bonslaver of York, PA; 1 sister: Evelyn Fatula of Phoenixville, PA; and 8 grandchildren: Nathan, Rachel, Daniel, Benjamin, Madeline, Cecelia, Alessandra and Luciana Bonslaver.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
