George H. Henry, 76, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Birdsboro, he was the son of the late George Phillip Henry. He was the loving husband of Mellanie E. (Albert) Henry.
George worked and retired from the United States Postal Service after 34 years. He was an avid auto racing enthusiast, lifelong Eagles fan, and loved to jitterbug. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attended all their events.
Surviving George, along with his wife, Mellanie, are 2 sons: Brett Henry, Brad Henry, husband of Jennifer DellaPietra; daughter: Brooke Hornberger, wife of Shaun; 2 sisters: Beverly Wickizer, Joanne Manwiller; and 3 grandchildren: Krystian M. Henry, Mathew M. Hornberger, and Kendal M. Hornberger.
He was predeceased by 2 sisters: Georgann Swavely and Geraldine V. Ingram.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Birdsboro Fire Co. 214 W. 1st St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 between the hours of 4:00pm – 8:00pm.
