George A. Walker, 71, of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of the late John D. and Bertha J. (Sleigh) Walker. He was the loving husband of Vicki S. (Nelson) Walker.
George retired from Computer Programming at Carpenter Technology in Reading, PA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 626, Birdsboro VFW Post 411, and a former member of Berks HOG Chapter. He served his country honorably in the US Air Force both domestic and abroad. His enjoyment in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving George, along with his wife, Vicki, are: 2 sons: Randy Walker, husband of Michelle of Birdsboro, PA, Justin Walker of Birdsboro, PA; 1 daughter: Alison Pierce, wife of Robert of Royersford, PA; 2 sisters: Nancy Eardley of Hollidaysburg, PA, Joanne Reaney of Rock Hall, MD; and 5 grandchildren: Samuel, Liam, Kinley, Leighton, and Emilia.
Military honors will be held for George at Birdsboro cemetery for family and close friends.
