Elsie Marie (Grubb) Evans, 92 of Cumru Twp., Berks Co., PA, died on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA.
Born July 4, 1928 in Elverson, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Grubb and the late Ruth (Bixler) Grubb. She was the widow of Samuel Sylvester Evans.
She was a very active member of Robeson Lutheran Church, Plowville, PA
Elsie was a member of the Rebekah’s Morgantown. Elsie loved crafting, sewing, the Phillies and spending time with her family.
Surviving are sons, James husband of Joan (Haga) Evans of Myrtle Beach, SC and Thomas husband of Marilyn (White) Evans of Elverson, PA, daughter, Susan wife of Dr. Clifford Lynd of York, PA; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Robeson Lutheran Church, 3520 Plow Road, Mohnton, PA 19540. Masks and social distancing required during service.
