Blaine Holt Finkbiner

Blaine Holt Finkbiner 7/17/45 – 6/6/21 Chester Springs, PA

Blaine Holt Finkbiner was given to God on the morning of 6/6/21. He was a teacher, philanthropist, and devoted husband. Today Blaine is survived by his spouse, James A. Wells, and numerous other family members.

From his time as an educator to his final days, he expressed how much he cared through his creativity, his generosity, and an unmatched, gentle honesty. He not only told you, but showed you, that he loved you. This is why he leaves behind such a massive hole in many lives. But it is also the reason for his greatest achievement: the exemplary love he shared with Jim for almost 40 years.

The love they shared was so powerful that it blossomed beyond them and influenced the world they occupied. It fueled the building of a business, the strengthening of a family, the passage through crises and the rescuing of hundreds of dogs and more than a few people. It will forever remain an example of devotion and perseverance, a model for all of us blessed enough find someone to share life with.

Blaine’s celebration of life event has been postponed to a later date. In leu of flowers, please send donations to 1 Love For Animals, P.O. Box 1414, Southeastern, PA 19398 (www.1love4animals.org) in memory of Blaine.
