Anthony A. Nanni

Anthony A. Nanni, 86, formerly of Robeson and Exeter Twps., PA passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, in the Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Donato and Matilda (D’Amelia) Nanni. He was the widower of Jean (Scatchard) Nanni.

Tony was a former business owner of Automated Systems and Industrial Supply and Service. He served our country in the US Navy from 1955-1959. He was an avid golfer and a former member of the Reading and Berkshire Country Clubs. Tony was a past president of the Birdsboro Lions Club and first chair trumpet in the Navy jazz band. He graduated in 1954 from Birdsboro High School and was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church.

Surviving Tony are his daughter, Anne Kalbach, wife of Greg of Downingtown, PA; and 3 grandchildren: Erin, Ryan, and Alex Kalbach.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Ermo and Joseph Nanni, and 3 sisters, Velia Graziani, Seconda Tabegna, and Bernadina Nanni.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:30AM at Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville (Union Twp.), PA. A viewing will be from 9:30AM-10:30AM on Saturday morning at the church before mass. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
