The Reverend Mr. Charles Anthony Giordano

The Reverend Mr. Charles Anthony Giordano was born on April 30, 1949 and raised in his beloved Rochester, New York. There he graduated from St. John Fisher College in 1971 with a degree in Chemistry. He lived there, and worked at the former Genosee Hospital until 1989. He then attended and graduated from Logan University in St. Louis, MO with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. It was there he met his future wife, Barbara.

In 1993, Chuck married Barbara Ebbert, DC and together they opened their first practice in Wexford, PA where they lived and worked for 9 years. In 2002, they moved to continue a Chiropractic practice in Bechtelsville, PA. While living and working here, Chuck was called by the Diocese of Allentown to the Order of Permanent Diaconate, and was ordained on April 25, 2015. He has since served the Diocese as Permanent Deacon at Immaculate Conception Church in Birdsboro, PA.

As Doctor, Deacon, and Friend, and with great personal integrity, Chuck took pride in offering his patients the absolute best in Healing and Health care, however that care was needed: physically, emotionally or spiritually. First and foremost, Chuck loved God and his Catholic faith, and his beloved wife Barbara. He was deeply devoted to the Church, and the Pro-Life Movement. He loved his sports teams: Baseball, Golf and Hockey—which were always topics of conversation!

Chuck is survived by his wife of 28 years: Barbara Ebbert Giordano.

In Rochester New York, he is predeceased by his parents: Mary Lou and Anthony Giordano. He is survived by his Aunt and Godmother Jean (Peter) Broikou, his Brothers David and Anthony and his sisters Kristine (Bill) Williamson and Susan Giordano, their children and grandchildren. He cherished his godchildren Elise Williamson and Michael Giordano.

In Pittsburgh, Chuck was also blessed and is survived by Barbara’s family who lovingly and devotedly called him Brother and Friend: Walter III (Kathy), Kathi Heiles, Joe (Patty), Steven (Marcia), Dolores (Michael) and their children and Grandchildren. He had a great love for his Godson Peter (Gabriella) Shipe, whose Wedding he participated in on the Altar 2 weeks before his passing. This was one of the greatest joy of his life.
