Allan Ray Eckert, 74 of Westerville, OH passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Ira S. and Mary (Rhoads) Eckert.
Allan worked for many years as a Salesman for his family’s business, Eckert’s Produce. He volunteered countless hours for his churches in PA and OH. He loved teaching Sunday School and visits from his PA family. He was a member of Lighthouse Community Church in Lyons, PA. He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Surviving Allan are 3 sons: Justin I. Eckert, husband of Mary, Pearce A. Eckert, husband of Meaghan, and Nathan J. Eckert; daughter: Angela E. Eckert-Reifsnyder, fiancé of Garrick Sievers; 5 brothers: Harold, Dennis, Neal, Barry, and Dean Eckert; sister: Carol Shore; and 7 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 11:00AM. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00AM – 11:00AM prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Amityville, PA.
