Yolanda (DiPillio) Marino, 94, formerly of Douglassville, PA passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Berks Heim Nursing & Rehabilitation Home in Leesport, PA. Born, August 4, 1923 in Birdsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Emidio DiPillio and the late Lucia (D’Archangelo) DiPillio. She was the wife of the late Michael Marino.
Yolanda volunteered at the Birdsboro Senior Center for 14 years. Before retiring in 1991, she was employed for 26 years at Valley Forge Flag Company, Baumstown, PA as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Douglassville, PA. Yolanda loved to crochet and enjoyed watching the Phillies on TV.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Carolann Marino of Lancaster, PA, Judy Ann wife of Clyde Brownback of Coatesville, PA, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Yolanda was predeceased by 1 son: Anthony Marino, 4 brothers; Nicholas, Dominick, Patsy “Bones” Rapposelli and John “Tony” DiPillio, 2 sisters; Mary Costello and Elizabeth “Dolly” Mariani.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:30AM at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, PA. A viewing will be held an hour before the service on Friday from 9:30am-10:30am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
