Theodore F. Reznick

Theodore F. Reznick, 88, of Geigertown, PA went home to his Savior on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Hazle Brook, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Plavchak) Reznick. He was the loving husband of Barbara A. (Lenart) Reznick. He was a member of the P.A. National Guard. Was activated for the Korean Conflict and served with the Army Security Agency in Alaska. Taking advantage of the GI Bill, he went on to earn degrees from Bloomsburg, Trenton, and Temple.

Ted was an elementary school teacher for the Twin Valley School District. He was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church in Union Twp., PA where he was a member of the choir for 30 yrs. He was also a member of Col. Jacob Morgan American Legion Post 537 and the South Birdsboro Archery, Rod, and Gun Club. He was a member of his professional organizations: NEA, PSEA and he was the 1st president of the newly formed Twin Valley Education Assoc. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, traveling across North America, to Ted, hunting was about nature and nourishment.

Surviving Ted, along with his wife, are: 1 son: Stephen M. Reznick, husband of Jessica of Geigertown, PA.

Ted was predeceased by his siblings: Ann Reznick, Stephen Reznick, Mary Litchko, John Reznick, Joe Reznick, and Andrew Reznick; a nephew: Michael Litchko; niece: Phoebe Sechrist; and long-time friends: Donald MacLean, William Ambrose, Stanley Okuniewski, George Wheaton, George “Bud” Suffle, Marty Karsko, and Dr. William Kautz

Services will be private at the convenience of the family at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville, PA 19518 or the Immaculate Conception Academy, 903 Chestnut St. Douglassville, PA 19518.
