Miriam A. (Sension) Brown, 94, of Douglassville, Amity Twp., Berks Co., PA, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Mifflin Center in Shillington, PA. Born in Germantown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Sension, Sr., and the late Grace E. (Miller) Sension. She was the widow of Ellwood F. Brown, Jr.
Miriam grew up on a farm in her younger years. She enjoyed antiquing, going to flea markets and casinos.
Surviving Miriam are: 2 daughters: Suzanne A. Gerhard, wife of Walter of Palmetto, FL and Christine A. Asher, widow of Lee of Adamstown, PA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 1 son: Ellwood F. Brown, III; 1 daughter: Marjorie F. Tammaro, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008 at 11:30am.
