Michael “Mike” Frederick Klein was a loving father, son, and friend. After 61 years of life that gave him endless stories to tell, he left this Earth on November 9th, 2022. He was born to John F. and Barbara A. (Dunleavy) Klein on March 24th, 1961 in Reading, PA and grew up in Fleetwood, PA. After graduating from Fleetwood High School with the Class of 1979, Michael was employed by Standard Electric in Reading, PA as an electrical mechanic until he began employment at East Penn Manufacturing in Lyons, PA as a maintenance mechanic. Michael was a skilled craftsman, enjoyed building things, and his passions included skateboarding, riding motorcycles, model railroading, and creating art. He resided in Kutztown, PA and enjoyed spending time in nature, and supporting his friends and daughters.
He will be dearly missed by his sister, Jacqueline L. Snook of Reading, PA and his three daughters, Michelle N. Klein, wife of Steven P. Seyler of Mesa, AZ, Lauren M. Klein of Wexford, PA, and Nina A. Klein of Boston, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Michael’s name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
