Joan Y. (Clouser) Evans, 85, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the St. Francis Home in Cumru Twp. Born in Seyfert, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood S. and Myrtle (Eichert) Clouser. She was the loving wife of George P. Evans, Sr.
Joan worked in claim payments for Aetna Insurance for many years. She enjoyed vacations in Bohemia, MD, picnics in the summer with her family, traveling to Hawaii, Myrtle Beach, and Dollywood. She loved jig-saw puzzles and word searches. Joan was a member Seyfert Wesleyan Church.
Surviving Joan, along with her husband, George is a step-son: George P. Evans, Jr., husband of Kim of Exeter Twp, PA; a brother: Donald Clouser of Reading, PA; a sister: Linda Kramer of Wyomissing, PA; and a step-grandson: Joseph.
She was predeceased by a brother: Nelson Clouser.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 10:00AM at Seyfert Wesleyan Church, 2 Maple Rd. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
