James Edward Loomis, 75 of Warwick Twp., Chester Co, PA died on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Reading Hospital.
Born October 19, 1946 in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late James Russell Loomis and the late Florence (Montgomery) Loomis. He was the husband of Gloria Jean (Silvano) Loomis.
James retired from Arcelor Mittal, Coatesville, PA.
He served as an SGT (T) in the Army from 1966 until 1968. He was a Veteran of Vietnam.
He was a member of Pine Swamp Immanuel Church.
James family was his main concern he is survived by his wife Gloria, son, James E. Loomis, II wife Monica of Oxford, PA; 2 grandchildren, Paisley and Quinn Loomis; step granddaughter Dakota Coughlan.
He was predeceased by a son, Christopher Loomis.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA with the funeral service at 11:30 AM with the Rev. David J. Yamarick officiating. Interment will be in Pine Swamp Cemetery .
