Edward Logan Keating

Edward Logan Keating, 66 of Robeson Twp, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 4, 2021, following a long battle with lung cancer.
Born January 21, 1955 in Bangor, Maine, he was the son of the late Bruce L. Keating and the late Albertina O. (Kalway) Harford. He was the husband of Karen (Cox) Keating.

Ed graduated from Belfast High School class of 1973 and attended Rochester Technical Institute in New York. He started his long career in the printing industry in Belfast at the Republican Journal. Ed moved to PA with wife Judy to work at Brown Printing and eventually spent the next 22 years at Tursack Printing in Morgantown PA. Following the sale of Tursack, Ed worked at various printing companies including RRDonnelley, Epic Litho, Great Atlantic and Standard Group retiring due to his illness in 2018. Ed was an avid classic car enthusiast and could be seen at many car shows with his beloved 66 Nova.

Surviving along with his wife Karen are children Joshua Keating, Adam Cogswell and Emily Senene (husband – Mawande). Grandchildren, Calvin and Ani Senene. Brothers Robert Keating, Ronald Harford (wife – Mackie), William Harford (wife – Pam), Stephen Harford (wife – Jane). Sisters Phyllis Keating Brooks, Joni Harford Smith (husband – Richard), Ethel Harford Whitcomb (husband – Rusty) and many nieces, nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife – Judy Harris Keating, sister – Marcia Harford, Brothers – Jerry Harford and Jeff Harford, Brother-in-law Thomas Brooks and sister-in-law Betty Keating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA with a time of remembrance to start at 3:00 PM. Intermittent service will be held in the summer in Belfast, Maine.
