Annie B. Maddaloni
Our beloved mother, Annie B. Maddaloni, passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning, October 21. Annie was born in Mississippi on October 22, 1924, to William and Bertha Powell. She was the wife of Anthony J. Maddaloni Sr. who passed away in 1978.
Annie is survived by daughters Carol Ann Maddaloni Novotny and her husband, David of Hatfield, PA; Palma Maddaloni Odano and her husband George of Culver City, CA; Marie Maddaloni Broderick and her husband Ted of Pennsville, NJ; and, son, Anthony J. Maddaloni,Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Wernersville, PA. Also surviving are granddaughters Lisa Novotny of Telford, PA, Julie Masako Montero of Culver City, CA, Naomie Bautista of Fogelsville, PA, Gabriella Maddaloni of Wernersville, PA; grandsons Nathan Broderick of Kapolei, Hawaii, Andrew Odano of Culver City, CA; and great grandchildren Richard Broderick of San Antonio, TX, Lucca Montero and Nicco Montero of Culver City, CA, Emma Rose Bautista and Nico Bautista of Fogelsville, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Annie met and married Anthony while he was stationed in Mississippi before being deployed to the European theater. When he returned from WWII, the couple moved to Birdsboro, PA, where she resided until 2014 when she moved to Lansdale, PA. She was employed in the garment industry and retired in 1979.
Tony instilled a love of sports to Annie and she was a loyal fan of the Eagles, Phillies, and Nittany Lions. She knew the stats and could hold her own with any male sports fan.
Annie loved her family and enjoyed playing bingo and cards and spending time with her friends at The Manor. Her loss will be deeply felt by all that knew her.
Annie was predeceased by two brothers, Lee Powell and Johnny Powell, and two sisters, Ethel Van Norman and Alice Holmes.
The burial service and internment will take place at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Birdsboro.
