William Sylvester Westley, 88 of Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA died on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Reading Hospital.
Born on February 16, 1935 in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Oscar Westley, Jr. and the late Helen (Misiarewicz) Westley. He was the husband of the late Gloria Mae (Halteman) Westley.
He retired from Mrs. Smith’s Pies, Pottstown in 1988. He attended Seyfert Wesleyan Church. William enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing guitar for the Coronets in the 50s and 60s.
Surviving are sons, Timothy S. Westley of at home and William G. husband of Margaret Westley of Robeson Twp., PA, daughter, Judy L. wife of Gregory Howard of Womelsdorf, PA, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by sisters, Joan Seyler and Dorothy Klusewitz.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA, with the memorial service to follow at 11:30 AM with the Rev. Doug Ploof officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading, PA.
