William R. “Bill” James, III, 73, of Birdsboro, Amity Twp., PA passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 in the comfort of his home. Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late William and Helen (Reider) James.
Bill worked as a welder for Dana Corp. in Reading for many years. He was a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Douglassville, PA and enjoyed traveling and camping. Bill’s family would like to thank his home health nurse, Rachel and Fresenius Kidney Care in Pottstown for taking such good care of him.
Surviving Bill are his son: Brian S. James, husband of Jessica of Amity Twp., PA; daughter: Beth Ann Serrano fiancé of Rasheed Rushing of Birdsboro, PA; his partner: Randall C. Reilly of Amity Twp., PA; 3 sisters: Jo Ann Breslin of Birdsboro, PA, Roseanne DeBenedictis of Wyomissing, PA, Mary Ellen Lafferty of Birdsboro, PA; and 2 grandchildren: Tyler James and Brianna James, fiancé of Dirk Amole.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
