Shirley Ann (Sowers) Holeman, 83, of Douglassville, Amity Twp., PA passed away on January 29, 2022 in her home. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Evans and Grace Sowers. She was the loving wife of David J. Holeman, Jr.
Shirley was a medical assistant Lancaster General Hospital leaving in 1975. She was a member of the Coast Guard Aux. Flotilla Commander 5th Northern Region-11th Division- Flotilla 1 for 27 yrs. and was a part of Amity Twp. Crime Watch.
Surviving Shirley, along with her husband David, is 1 daughter: Dorothy Miller; 2 step-sons: David J. Holeman, III, Richard A. Holeman; 1 step-daughter: Debra Ann Harding; 1 granddaughter; 3 step-grandchildren; and 4 step-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N., Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 11:00AM. A viewing will be held an hour before the service from 10:00AM-11:00AM. Burial will be in Pequea Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Gap, PA.
