Sherley J. (Groff) Mercer, 93 of Exeter Twp. Berks Co., PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at ProMedica Nursing & Rehab in Sinking Spring, PA. She was born in Weavertown, Amity Twp., PA the daughter of the late Charles and Beulah M. (Levan) Groff. She was the widow of Robert B. Mercer.
Sherley worked for Sunset Manufacturing in Pottstown, PA and worked in the cafeteria in the Daniel Boone School District. She was a diehard Philadelphia Phillies Fan.
Surviving Sherley are 1 son: Robert C. Mercer; 6 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her daughter: Kathy Caputo; brother: Earl Groff; and sister: Esther Boyer.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
