Robert Stull, 87, of Union Twp., Douglassville, PA passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Helen M. (Burke) Stull. He was the youngest of 8. He was the widower of Hattie Patricia (Bunch) Stull. He was the fiancé of Betty G. Stephan of Ephrata, PA.
Robert graduated from Tredyffrin/Easttown High School, Berwyn PA and Penn State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force, as a Fighter Pilot during the Cold War achieving the rank of captain. Robert retired as VP of Operations Superpac Inc., in Southampton PA, and was also a VP for the former Boyertown Packaging Corp Boyertown PA. Bob was also an inventor, holding a few patents for his innovations with flexographic printing. He was involved with Hawk Mountain Scouting, serving as District Chairman of the Frontier District in the 70’s. Bob loved to hunt, enjoyed walks in the woods, baseball, football as well as painting and drawing. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Birdsboro, PA.
Robert is survived by his fiancé, Betty; 2 sons: Gregory S. Stull, husband of Sherri of Bernville, PA, Mark C. Stull, husband of Angela of Pasadena, MD; daughter: Susan M. Stull, girlfriend of Denis Lee of Douglassville, PA; sister: Patricia Wall of Sarasota, FL; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son: Stephen M. Stull and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A visitation will be on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 3:00pm-4:00pm at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 4:00pm. Inurnment will be at a later date at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
