Robert Earl Shaw, 82, of Morgantown, Caernarvon Twp., PA passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Cedarville, OH, he was the son of the late Jesse L. and Elsie L. (Howell) Shaw. He was the husband of Blanche E. (Ink) Shaw of Morgantown, PA.
Robert worked at the Grace Mines in Morgantown until they closed in the 1970s. He then worked for Bethlehem Steel in Steelton, PA until retirement. In his younger years he enjoyed woodworking and mushrooming. He loved watching sports on TV and playing cards.
Surviving Robert, along with his wife Blanche, are sons: James Shaw, husband of Sue of Chester Co., PA and Jeffrey Shaw, husband of Brenda of Birdsboro, PA; stepdaughter: Lisa J. Miller, wife of Scott of Belleville, PA; brother: Donald Shaw of Jamestown, OH; sister: Mary Smith of Xenia, OH; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by 1 brother and 4 sisters.
