Paul J. Nester, 76, of Douglassville, Union Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in the comfort of his home. Born in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late Harry E. and Florence G. (Kolb) Nester. He was the loving husband for 57 years of Barbara Ann (Hohl) Nester.
Paul worked for Doehler Jarvis for 30 yrs., Gudebrods, where he met his wife, and Dave Hyres Pest Control. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and driving his ’55 Ford Pickup that he refurbished by hand, hunting, fishing, and attending car shows. He was a member of the Birdsboro American Legion 626, Kulptown Fire Co., and the Birdsboro Sportsmen’s Club.
Surviving Paul, along with his wife Barbara are: 2 daughters: Lori Pennypacker, wife of George and Debra Millard, wife of Jeffrey; 1 brother: Harry Nester, companion of Joan Underwood; and 4 grandchildren: Heather Setley, wife of Jon Setley, Eric Millard, husband of Ashley Millard, Brittany Millard, and Brandon Pennypacker, husband of Tracey Pennypacker, and fur baby Ty James; and 7 great grandchildren: Hailey, Hayden, Bentley, Aidan, Bryce, Morgan, and Joshua. Paul is predeceased by both parents, brother, Irvin, and fur baby, Lacey.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
