Norma (Banez) Crespo, 80, of Amity Twp., Berks Co., PA passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021at Penn State Health St. Joseph. She was born in Meycauayan City, Philippines, the daughter of the late Sotero E. and Pacita (Sagad) Banez. She was the widow of Carlos D. Crespo, Sr.
Norma was a simple housewife, a devoted mother, loving grandmother, caring sister, aunt, and a loyal friend. She was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church in Douglassville, PA, KFAAI, Catholic Women’s League Philippines, and Mother Butler Mission Guild Philippines. Norma enjoyed dressmaking, cooking, gardening, loved watching her favorite Filipino TV shows, participating in religious activities, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends in person or through video conferencing.
Surviving Norma, are 2 sons: Carlos Crespo, Jr., husband of Cherry of Meycauayan City, Philippines, Ricardo Crespo, husband of Ma Erranie of Abu Dhabi, UAE; 1 daughter: Isabelita Santos of Douglassville, PA, 3 brothers: Alfredo Banez, husband of Maria Fe, Serafin Banez, widower of Leticia, and Ramil Banez of the Philippines; 6 sisters: Leticia Andaya, wife of Santos, Teresita Montalba, widow of Roger, Gloria Lim, wife of Mario, Prescila Mendoza, wife of Leopoldo, Cristina Italia, wife of Rodelio, and Josephine Lunizo, wife of Carmelo of the Philippines, 9 grandchildren: Rhea Santos of Los Angeles, CA, Erin Santos of Pittsburgh, PA, Ally Santos of Douglassville, PA, Clarisse A., Carlos A. Claire A., Carl A., Rasia Y., and Ricardo Y. Crespo of the Philippines.
Norma is predeceased by 1 brother: Arturo S. Banez, husband of Letty Banez of the Philippines.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville (Union Twp.), PA 19518 from 9:00am-10:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30am.
