Mary Ellen (Care) Adams, 75 of Union Twp., Berks Co., PA died on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Penn State Health-St. Joseph in Bern Twp., Berks Co., PA.
Born February 26, 1945 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. Care and the late Catherine R. (Hoyer) Care. She was the widow of Richard Stanley Adams.
She retired from Valley Forge Flag.
Mary was a member of Holy Trinity shuffleboard team and St. Gabes. She enjoyed bingo, camping, crocheting, cooking and spending quality time with family.
Surviving are son, Richard S. Adams, Jr., his fiancée Lori Tanhouser of Birdsboro, PA, daughter, Tina M. wife of Gene Garman, Jr. of Union Twp., Berks Co., PA; 8 grandchildren, Joshua, husband of Joanne, Trista, Brandon husband of Jennifer, Cody, Kyle, Kerik, Corey, and Connor; 7 great grandchildren, Caidance, Xavier, Gabrielle, Aubrey, Carlo, Anderson and Maci.
She was predeceased by sister, Joan E. Updegrove.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, Pennsylvania with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
