James F. Dilliplaine, 80 of Douglassville, Union Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the comfort of his home. He was born in Boyertown, PA, the son of the late Frederick and the late Lydia (Baus) Dilliplaine. He was the loving husband of Betty M. (Ladner) Dilliplaine.
James owned and operated his own small business, Dilliplaine Floor Covering for many years. He enjoyed hunting in his free time. James was a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, American Legion Post 626, VFW Post 411, Birdsboro and Pikeville Sportsmen’s Clubs.
Surviving James, along with his wife, Betty are his children: Diana A. Caldwell, wife of Robert H. of Exeter Twp., PA, David M. Dilliplaine, husband of Kelly of Union Twp., PA, Dawn M. Nettles, widow of Keith of Phoenixville, PA; 1 brother: Eugene Dilliplaine of Cheyenne, WY; and 1 sister Marian Wunderlich of Douglassville, PA; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and 1 step grandson.
He was predeceased by a sister: Thelma Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service on Monday.
