Helen L. (Ruoss) Fries, 83, formerly of Morgantown, PA passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Mifflin Center in Shillington, PA. Born in Churchtown, Lancaster Co., PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur C. and the late Sara M. (DeHaven) Ruoss.
Helen was employed and retired from Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home in Narvon, PA, where she was a Dietary Manager. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, crafting, and trips to the beach. She graduated from Caernarvon High School in 1957.
Surviving Helen is daughter: Teresa L. (Riegner) Allison, and 2 grandchildren: Phillip Ruoss Allison and Sharon Rose Allison.
She was predeceased by her son: Gregory Fries; sister: Arlene Devine; and her partner of 34 years: G. Stanley Messner.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
