Harvey Fair Seifert, 72 of Exeter Twp., Berks Co., PA, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA.
Born December 7, 1951 in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Harvey Fair Seifert and the late Dorothy Ann (Stanley) Seifert. He was the devoted husband of Anita Michelle (Mingione) Seifert, a love story that began when they were teenagers at Daniel Boone High School.
He had been employed by Reading Hospital and involved in his community as a Quarter Master for the Boy Scouts of America #319 and past President of the Daniel Boone Optimist Club. He was the biggest fan imaginable of all of his son’s and grandchildren’s sports and activities and could often be heard on the sideline, in bleachers, and in the audience with his booming voice cheering them on.
Surviving along with his wife are his two sons, Matthew Seifert, Elliot Seifert and Elliot’s wife, Trish Seifert. Elliot’s children, Brynn and Ethan, were Harvey’s pride and joy. He adored being their Pop Pop and they loved his candy jar.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA with a funeral service to follow.
