Frances Ruth (Eselby) Levengood, 91, formerly of Birdsboro, Union Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Sanatoga Center. Born in Birdsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Ruth A. (Althouse) Eselby.
Frances worked as a Secretary for Stanley G. Flaggs in Stowe, PA. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and was a member of the Women’s Club of Birdsboro, and St. Paul’s UCC, Birdsboro.
Frances is survived by 2 daughters: Linda C. Linsenbigler, wife of Kenneth of Pottstown, PA, Suzanne F. Torak, wife of George of Birdsboro, PA; and son: David C. Levengood, husband of Sharon of Birdsboro, PA; 5 grandchildren: Stephanie L. Getty, Karen A. Donovan, Jill A. Pannebecker, Eric K. Linsenbigler, and Carl D. Levengood; and 3 great grandchildren: Ethan D. Resh, Bria H. Getty, and Hunter A. Pannebecker.
She was predeceased by a brother: Richard H. Eselby and grandson: Jacob E. Levengood.
A funeral service will be held at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 10:30am. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30am-10:30am before the service. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
