Daniel L. Gerges, 90, of Birdsboro, Exeter Twp., PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Born in Royersford, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel C. and the late Velma H. (Wood) Gerges.
Daniel served our country in the U.S Army, as well as, the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania. He spent most of his life as a self-employed truck driver, transporting Coal. In his early years, he loved flying his Cessna airplane. He enjoyed watching his collection of John Wayne movies and loved bowling and watching golf. He also loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His greatest joy and mission in life was humor and making others laugh.
Surviving Daniel are his 2 daughters: Judi Eppihimer and Jodi Hetrick, wife of Doug; brother: Kenneth Gerges; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Laurie Gerges; 3 nieces; and 1 nephew.
He was predeceased by his wife: Janice Gerges; son: Robyn Gerges; sister: Betty Musselman; brother: Gary Gerges; and niece: Kim Morgan.
A Memorial Service will be on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 12:30pm at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A visitation will be from 11:00am-12:30pm prior to the service on Friday.
