Curtis Lee Brown, Sr., 87 of Seyfert, PA died on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.
Born October 30, 1935 in Seyfert, Robeson Twp., PA, he was the son of the late Francis James Brown and the late Geneva Elizabeth (Kerper) Brown. He would have celebrated his 62nd wedding anniversary on April 29, 2023 to his wife Evelyn Louise (Quinter) Brown.
He retired from Birdsboro Steel in 1991.
Surviving along with his wife are son, Curtis Lee Brown, Jr. of Seyfert, PA, daughter, Debra L. wife of Dennis Brown of Reiffton, PA, brother, Robert Brown of Robeson Twp., Berks Co., PA, sisters, Janice Kockel of Birdsboro, PA and Marlene Weikel of West Lawn , PA; 6 grand children; 14 great grand children; best friend, Dick Fix and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, James Brown.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA with the funeral service at 1:30 PM with the Pastor Bruce H. Kreisher officiating.
Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Gibraltar, PA.
