Clara L. (Care) Carter, 103, formerly of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2023 at the Mifflin Center in Shillington, PA. She was born in Birdsboro, PA, the daughter of the late Charles L. and Marie (Geiger) Care. She was the widow of Robert F. Carter who passed away in 1989.
Clara spent most of her life as a homemaker taking care of her family and children. She was a very proud mother, grandmother & great grandmother, always taking pride in all of their accomplishments. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Birdsboro.
She is survived by her daughter: Roberta L. Kennedy; 2 grandchildren: Matthew Kennedy, husband of Teresa and Gavin Kennedy, husband of Kristine; and 5 great grandchildren: Hannah, Emma, Matthew, Jr., Hayden, and Finnegan.
She was predeceased by her brother: Frederick Care and sister: Betty Kline.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00AM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 5 Brooke Manor Birdsboro, PA 19508. There will be a visitation prior to the service at church from 10:30AM – 11:00AM. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at the above address.
