Catharine T. (Pfeffer) Orrs, 76, of Elverson, Warwick Twp., Chester Co., PA, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Monocacy, PA, she was the daughter of late William and Mildred (Mort) Pfeffer. She was the loving wife of Clarence G. Orrs.
Cathy worked most of her life in bookkeeping for Wal-Mart and for Graco in Elverson. She enjoyed making homemade candy, spending time with her family, an occasional trip to the casino and loved dahlias and lily of the valley.
Surviving Cathy, along with her husband, Clarence are 4 sons: Frank D. Orrs, husband of John Folk, Stephen M. Orrs, Russell G. Orrs, and Barry G. Orrs, husband of Charles “Chuck” Saylor; 2 brothers: William Pfeffer, husband of Judy, Russell Pfeffer; and sister-in-law: Thelma Pfeffer.
She was predeceased by her son: Michael W. Orrs, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A funeral service will be on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A viewing will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home on Sunday, prior to the service.
